The Mendip Caving Group has a proud history dating back to 1954 -  but the challenges remain the same - seeking fun and adventure, and the thrill of finding the next breakthrough into new cave passages or long forgotten mines. 

We are a  Registered Charity,  Charitable Incorporated Organisation number 1197325

The object of the Group is for the benefit of the public and the furtherance of all aspects of the exploration, scientific study and conservation of caves and related features.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 years with an interest in the objectives of the Group. We also have a Junior membership available for under 18s.
